Lady Spring Wood

The walks through these woods are not too strenuous and suitable for everyone. The woods edge is around the local golf course but are full of interesting features - the old Beauchief Hall (now owned by EDS) has a field full of deer, the woods are alive with squirrels, birds and other wildlife - there are badger setts on one section. Hidden walkways reveal fields of bluebells and daffodils in the summer and hillsides strewn with blackberries in the autumn. Linked to the Sheffield Round Walk.
