Kaimes

This small and peaceful area of woodland forms part of the grounds of Mortonhall Crematorium. The main entrance is on Howden Hall Road via a pedestrian gate. There is parking available at the crematorium and Howden Hall Road is well served by regular buses. The wood has narrow paved paths, gentle slopes, and a small stream (the Stenhouse Burn). Opening hours are 8am until 6pm daily, and there are no dogs allowed due to the area being crematorium grounds.
