Ingleborough

Ingleborough wood holds a number of small, fragile areas of ancient woodland and shrub cover. Hazel, hawthorn, guilder rose and bird cherry grow alongside the ash creating a suitable platform for the growth of mosses, ferns and other plants such as the rare alpine cinquefoil. In order to protect the sensitive nature of the reserve the wood is a part of, please follow the countryside code keeping dogs on leads.
