Homer Wood

Homer Wood has its origins through the nearby Knowsley Hall estate, which formerly owned much of the land in this area. This mature wood contains numerous ponds making it highly valuable for wildlife. A public footpath between Gellings and Pinfold Lanes connects this wood with the wider network of community woodlands within the Village.
