This woodland is in the North Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is part of the western slopes of Well Hill - a prominent feature in the landscape. Parking is difficult and the area is only really accessible for local people.

Due to improvements to Hollow's Wood, we are resuming coppicing cycles in a safe and sustainable manner. You will see that we have created a loading bay in which we will stack timber. Please note that coppicing is a vital form of woodland management, which allows the creation of varied habitats. It encourages new plant growth and wildlife, while enhancing biodiversity.

Please be mindful of operations work onsite and follow safety signage. Surface disturbance to the existing woodland track has been rectified. Please be patient as some areas may not be fully firm until the drier weather and use alternative routes.
