Hillend

This woodland is located by the A89 just outside the town of Caldercruix. Some off road parking by the site. Mainly young mixed woodland with lots of open grassland. Good wide paths with some slight gradients. The foot path takes you down past Lilly Loch. Good views looking across the main road to Hillend Reservoir, very popular with fishermen and worth a visit too. The reservoir forms part of Calderglen Countryside & Nature Park.
