Hill of the Wangie is a Forestry Commission pine plantation with a typical undergrowth of heather, bilberry, ferns and mosses. While there are no specific amenities for visitors, there is a good network of logging tracks many of which are suitable for pushchairs and mountain bikes. Fantastic views towards the Hill of Mulundy and the south can be had from the cleared areas. There is a single-track section for downhill biking that starts near the summit.
