Hill Of Kilncadzow

Rather difficult to find this wood which is down a farm track off the A70 just before the village of Kilncadzow if coming from Carstairs direction. Some parking at site with a wide grassy track to the plantation through pastures. The walk to the woods takes about 10-15 minutes. A large wood made up of young conifers and native trees. The route is way marked with grassy paths throughout. Great views of surrounding hills and windfarms too.
