Set in a suburban area of west Windsor, this small (one hectare) ancient remnant of Windsor Forest is surprisingly well-stocked with tree varieties including oak, ash, hornbeam, horse chestnut, beech and silver birch. Popular with dog-walkers, it includes surfaced paths and a small grassland area to encourage community activities. It was designated a Local Wildlife site in 2000 owing to its importance for wildlife. Main access is via Hemwood Road.
