Heaton Woods

Around 40 acres of ancient and new woodland, open to the public and well looked after. The bluebells in the Spring are stunning and adorn the banks of the stream. Access is not disabled friendly and the paths are natural and can be muddy but it is well worth a visit especially in the Spring. The wood runs into Northcliffe wood so a good circular walk is possible using the lower and upper paths.
