Harry Guards Wood

Harry Guard's Wood looks down from the slope over Yew Tree Tarn, one of the most accessible and most photographed tarns in the Lake District. There's a footpath through the wood and you can clamber your way to the shore, but sturdy footwear is a must. The autumn colours are simply spectacular in this peaceful little wood.
