Hanger Estate

A typical Bucks beech wood. Beautiful when the sun shines through, mysterious when it's damp and misty. There are a number of signed paths, and a crossroads (cross path?) with a set of signs which gives an interesting history of the wood. Well worth a visit but beware if approaching from Fiapproved Chequers lane - The approach paths through the fields are pretty steep (stop for a breather at the wood gate and enjoy the view).
