Halton Moor/Wykebeck Valley

The Wyke Beck Valley is the largest city owned green valley in Leeds, a unique 'urban park' covering more than five miles with extensive wildlife habitat, green spaces, paths and cycleways. The Valley consists of 5 individual LNRs - Wykebeck Woods, Arthurs Rein, Killingbeck Fields, Primrose Valley, and Halton Moor 'Beck Fields'. Halton Moor is a lovely woodland which follows the course of the beck - home to the very elusive water vole.
