Halladale Grazings (East)

A small wood in 3 sections beside the A897 about 10 miles from Forsinard heading north towards Thurso. Plenty of off road parking on this single track road. Lots of lovely old trees but it looks as if the woods are not used very much. There was not much evidence of foot paths and the bracken was very high in places at this time of the year. None the less an interesting woods with great views of surrounding hills which are currently covered in heather.
