This wood is more commonly known as Llanfoist Wood and follows the western side of the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal. It is a gorgeous and tranquil woodland on the water, and a beautiful place for a quiet walk. The wood covers the base of the Blorenge so the ground is sloping and may be uneven.
