Green Farm Wood

Accessible by a public footpath off the Sherburn-in-Elmet to Church Fenton road, this 'wood' is really nothing more than a hawthorn hedge running alongside a ditch between two fields. If you are walking between Little Fenton and Barkston Ash, it is quite a pleasant stretch of the public footpath, with a Crab Apple tree halfway along and a little footbridge over a ditch at its far western edge.
