This wood, formerly Great Swarcliffe Plantation, which borders Swarcliffe Avenue, Eastwood Gardens, Swarcliffe Drive and Eastwood Drive, contains an abundance of sycamore, oak and rowan trees, being approximately 240 m long, and 160 m wide. Although the wood can be crossed along desire pathways, there are no official public rights of way.
