This privately-owned wood is just outside of the Galloway Forest Park boundary. It has a number of trails and is mainly coniferous. Nearby Kirroughtree Forest boasts red squirrels and woodland birds ' which can also be seen here ' but also offers great biking trails and a beautiful loch, among other facilities.
