Glenhove

A large wood with a mixture of ancient trees and new plantings with some lovely old Scots pine, oak and lots of hazel. Some off road parking by site along a narrow lane. The beeches that line the woods are beautiful in their autumn colours at the moment. The woods have lots of wide grassy paths, but it does not look as if the woods are used a great deal. On entering the woods at the main gate you are rewarded with good views looking down and across to Cumbernauld and the Kilsyth Hills.
