Gledenholm Moor

This detached woodland is part of the nearby Ae Forest. As you would expect most of it is plantation but when it opens out onto the moorland area the diversity of trees increases. Forest track all the way, its approx an hours walk to the end of the gravel track, on the return there are stunning views to be had. There is a burn running along the track and I saw evidence of otter in the form of spraints deposited on the track.
