Fedderland

A large privately owned woods beside Fedderland Farm a few miles from Cumbernauld. There are several entrances to the woods with some limited parking in the narrow lane that runs through the site. I walked to the woods via the farm itself through a field of very interested sheep. A large selection of mixed woodland trees with grassy paths throughout. Some new planting too. Good views looking across to Cumbernauld & the Kilsyth Hills. Palacerigg Country Park is close by and well worth a visit too
