This is a lovely woodland walk that takes you up to a stunning view point overlooking the Solway coast line. Doach wood is home to some of the tallest trees in Dumfries and Galloway - the largest soaring to 40m above the forest floor. The circular route is easy to follow but the climb to the view point is fairly steep in parts as is the descent.
