Danby Wood

This small broadleaved semi-natural woodland is on the site of an old chalk pit, and consists of oak, ash, lime and sycamore. Warblers, tits, woodpeckers and treecreepers are resident. The site also has wild flowers including bluebells and lords and ladies, with some interesting fungi.
