CUERDEN VALLEY PARK TRUST WOOD
The park, which extends to 650 acres, is a delight for anyone who enjoys the countryside. The extensive park comprises meadows, woodland, lakes and ponds, with the attractive River Lostock running through the middle. There is also an American Garden & Pinetum for tree enthusiasts. The area is well maintained by the Cuerdon Valley Trust who organise regular events and activities from the visitor centre at The Barn, which is also the headquarters of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
