Crindledyke Bing

The site was previously a large shale bing which in now a large community woodlands with grassland by the village of Morningside and close to Newmains. Various entrances with plenty of parking. Lots of footpaths which criss cross the site & well used by locals. As the footpaths climb up you are rewarded with great views of the surrounding area. Good mixture of broadleaf trees with many of them in their autumn colours. All facilities can be found in Newmains a short distance away from the woods.
