Craigmillar Castle Hill

Park of Craigmillar Castle Park (a 65 ha complex of woods & open fields), the young trees on castle hill were planted as part of a world record-breaking tree planting event in 1997. Pretty bluebells & informal paths. Mary Queen of Scots once stayed at the castle (now owned by Historic Scotland).
