Coundon Hall Park Woodland

If you like open spaces this wood is a good place to start. The wood is still young, although trees generally above head height. Beyond the wood are numerous playing fields and even younger woods to explore. There is also a small mature copse with a large pond. Despite many people, dogs and kids on motocross bikes, the birds still came down to the bird feeders scattered throughout the wood. A number of trees have been planted in memory of people so it's also a wood for reflection.
