Cooper's Copse

A wonderful small mixed wood tucked away down a single track road. Travelling from Tostock the wood is located just after you cross the railway line. Mostly relatively young trees but some excellent older Sycamore and many crab apples and Hazel. Well drained with a mown path which can be uneven underfoot. Lots of signs of wildlife with fox tracks and droppings evident on my visit in November, along with Deer tracks. Very limited places to park - perhaps one or two cars could fit by the gate.
