Childwall woods and fields

Set in a Liverpool suburb this wonderful wood is an oasis for all. Yards from a busy main road you are in the tranquil surroundings of trees and all of the wildlife a woodland brings. Within a few paces from an entrance I heard a cacophony of sound as the Great Spotted Woodpecker chicks called to be fed and saw the wonderful sight of the parents delivering. A beautiful spot for a relaxing nature walk. Equally it is good for children to expend energy in the woods and fields and discover nature.
