Chellow Dean

A long narrow woodland which surrounds two old reservoirs, the walking varies from strenuous to easy. There are tarmac paths round some parts of the reservoirs but in other places higher up near the golf course it can be quite difficult. The water attracts a fair amount of wildfowl and woods are full of birds. Popular with dog walkers this woodland is a pleasant place to visit, the car park just off Haworth road is free but not very large.
