Cemetery Wood

Access very poor from Bilington Road due to fly tipping and attempts to prevent fly tipping. Access and parking at the Accrington road end or nice walk through Burnley Cemetery to middle entrance. Broad leaved quite mature woodland with a stream running through it. The stream can be malodorous (sulphury) especially in the mornings, I suspect due to runoff from nearby landfill. Bluebells and Ramsons in spring.
