SCOTTISH WILDLIFE TRUST WOOD
One of the largest semi-natural broadleaved woodlands in Galloway, this ancient oak wood is renowned for its spectacular springtime bluebell display and ancient coppiced beech trees that just beg to be climbed! A number of marked routes offer roe deer & red squirrel sightings. Autumn offers an incredible array of fungi and colour.
