Brown Moor Wood

This wood is well worth a visit. The habitats within it's boundaries are varied and ages of the trees are also from the young to mature trees. There is a lot to see from the circular path around the wood, and there are other tracks across this wood. All paths give walkers superb views across the Solway Coast, the Annandale Valley, across to Criffel and east to the Langholm Hills. The hum of traffic on the M74 is soon lost and the peace and variety of this wood can be enjoyed.
