Probably my favourite park in the world, as a child I always relished visiting Bradgate Park. The bus right to the gate of the park, running to be the first over the wall, never through the gates. This park has it all, the small river/large stream with water falls at intervals, the rocky outcrops, inviting every child to climb, what seemed like giant oaks, many of which were hollow with enough room to climb inside, the bracken lined paths, herds of Deer, and then the ruins to defend.
