Bowyers Waste

Known locally as The Little Wood, it was bought by Oakmere Parish Council as a facility for local people. The Little Wood is home to a rich variety of habitats. Most of the trees in the woodland are between 15 and 50 years old and include birch , rowan , oak , larch and a variety of pines Wildflowers include bluebell, indicating that the site may be ancient, while forget-me-nots and foxgloves can also be found.
