Bogside (Greengairs)

Bogside is a large mixed & conifer plantation close to the village of Greengairs & beside the Netherton of Glentore. So it is possible if you have enough time to visit both sites. Lots of off road parking to gain easy access to the site down a narrow lane. Wide grassy footpaths through the woods. The site is also used by a horse riding school, so watch out for horses.Good mixture of trees including oak, beech, hazel & rowan.Good place for birds too, was lucky enough to see a pair of bullfinches.
