Blacktongue 2

This woods forms a part of Blacktongue Woods and is opposite Boglea Woods which, can easily be accessed through a gate from the lane. There is some very limited off road parking down a very narrow farm lane. The woods has a good mixture of old and young trees with lots of beech, oak and hazel in particular. Wide track at entrance which then becomes a wide grassy path that climbs up a slight gradient. Once at the top you are able to look across the woods and Cumbernauld. Good views from woods.
