Beechen Cliff

Beechen Cliff Wood, when combined with the adjacent Alexandra Park provides an example of both a relatively demanding walk and one that includes several examples of mature beech trees and a mature ash tree. The whole site (Beechen Cliff) is on the side of a steep hill and if walking to the park is included, then the walk is certainly demanding, but far from impossible for a 72 year old such as myself. Several views are to be seen of the City of Bath, especially from the adjacent park.
