Beechbrae Wood

This part of Blackridge Farm Woods is located beside the other Blackridge Woods. This is reached by travelling along the main street of the village and turning right into Woodhill Rd. Continue along road to Matthews Croft where there is some off road parking. Track leads from road to woods, which are a mixture of young trees and conifer plantations. Wide tracks throughout with lots of paths throughout. Good views of surrounding hills which when I visited were covered in snow as the photos show.
