Ban-y-gor

Ban-y-gor nature reserve is a secluded and mystical woodland with large ancient coppice and pollards carpeted with ferns and mosses. A single path descends moderately via a small glade towards the River Wye. Dormice do surprisingly well in this shady habitat as the hazel coppice thrives amongst the wind blown trees that create a very natural woodland environment.
