This Forestry Commission wood provides a surprisingly pleasant woodland walk. It can be accessed just 6 miles North of Bonar Bridge on the Migdale Rd, or 6 miles West of Dornoch, depending on your preferred starting point. From the Migdale Rd entrance, an hour's walk on a gently undulating forest track takes you through pine forest, with birch, and notable amounts of luscious moss, to Loch Beinn Domhnaill. Return by the same path.
