Acharn Forest

A lovely wood near Killin in the Trossachs. The Killin railway used to run through the forest with walking and cycling trails for the active.. The woodland comprises Conifer plantation and Birch woodland. Birds include Bullfinch, Goldcrest, Coal Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Woodcock. If you are lucky you could spot a Red Squirrel, Roe Deer or Common Lizard. Insects include Common Blue Butterfly and Ringlet.
