Haymill Valley

Known locally as 'The Millie', this nature reserve offers two safe, undemanding trails, ideal for families of all ages. Its vibrant mix of oaks, chestnut, maple, holly, woodland stream and reed bed are home to bats, butterflies, woodpeckers, chiffchaffs and kingfishers, with the latter commemorated by two sculptures, 'Millie and Milo'. It is accessible in part to wheelchair users. Best points for parking/wheelchair access: Littlebrook Avenue, Marescroft Road.
