Mardley Heath

This is a large woodland covering 37 hectares. Much of the area used to be ancient wood pasture but it also has an unusual and interesting mixture of old gravel workings, remnant heathland and ponds as well as woodland. There is a good network of paths which can be used to explore the nature reserve on foot, horseback or by bicycle. It is a designated Local Nature Reserve.
