Come along to Gleann Shìldeag to explore the fascinating pinewood that makes up part of Scotland’s rainforest.

Learn all about the wood and its inhabitants, and find out more about the work the Woodland Trust Scotland is doing on the estate.

The walk will last for approximately 1.5 hours and is on pathless terrain with a short, steep climb at the start, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

This is a free event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.

Don't forget

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Good waterproofs, walking boots and warm layers are advised.

Please bring any insect repellent and suncream if necessary, along with any refreshments you may need.

The nearest toilets and facilities are in Shieldaig village, a five-minute drive away.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
