The Woodland Trust will retain your contribution and may choose to display it on its websites. The Woodland Trust may also publish your contribution in other media. The Woodland Trust reserves the right to remove all or any part of contributions that it considers to be contrary to the spirit of the Terms and Conditions of submission, including contributions it considers to be offensive, objectionable or that breach copyright. The Woodland Trust reserves the right to edit and alter contributions.

By submitting any contribution to the Woodland Trust’s 'Tell us about your school’s experience with trees' survey (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree to grant the Woodland Trust a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and world-wide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution, and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works, in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the Woodland Trust’s Privacy Policy. The Woodland Trust takes privacy very seriously, and we will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy.

By submitting your contribution, you agree that the Woodland Trust may use the material for any purpose and in any way it chooses. Any contribution you provide shall be non-confidential.

You confirm that any contribution is your own original work, and does not infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights, nor the confidentiality of any third party. The Woodland Trust will not be held liable and you will indemnify the Woodland Trust with regard to any claims, loss, damages and costs made by a third party which arise as a result of the content of your contribution, or its use by the Woodland Trust.

By submitting your contribution, you warrant that you have complied with all provisions of the Data Protection Act. If your contribution features other people who are recognizable, you are deemed to have obtained their permission for the contribution to be treated according to the uses set out above. Contributions featuring children under 16 can only be accepted if you are the parent or guardian, or have obtained appropriate permission from the child’s parent or guardian. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you confirm that you grant permission as the parent or guardian, or that you have obtained the express permission by the parent or guardian, for the contribution to be treated according to the uses set out above.

You agree to waive any moral rights or copyright in your contribution for the purpose of its submission to the Woodland Trust’s 'Tell us about your school’s experience with trees' survey and publication on the Woodland Trust’s websites and for the other purposes specified above.

Publication of your contribution will be at the Woodland Trust’s sole and absolute discretion.

The Woodland Trust reserves the right to edit, adapt, move or delete any contribution accepted. We will acknowledge the author wherever possible, but you agree that we are not obliged to do so. You also authorize the Woodland Trust to share your contribution with any of its partners without requiring your prior consent. Any contribution you provide shall be non-confidential.

Save as expressly provided for in these Terms and Conditions neither the Woodland Trust nor its trading subsidiary(ies) shall be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage or for any costs, claims or demands of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of the use of your contribution or any part thereof.

These Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) constitute the entire agreement between you and the Woodland Trust concerning your contribution to the Woodland Trust’s 'Tell us about your school’s experience with trees' survey. The Woodland Trust reserves the right to update or vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.

By submitting your contribution you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
