This case study examines the production of high-quality wood products from ancient woodland restoration in Wales.
Ray and Jeannie Turner have owned the 11-hectare wood, Coed y Galchog, for ten years.
In the absence of grant aid, woodland owners are obliged to look for more creative ways to make restoration work pay.
The couple are turning the timber they extract from the wood into high-quality floorboards.
