This case study details how access improvements have made sustainable woodland management easier at Fingle Woods in Devon.
Narrow roads and rural pathways make access to ancient woodland sites difficult. A huge problem for restoration, harvesting and sustainable woodland management.
Improvements to multiple entrances on-site have improved access for timber harvesting and the public – while also benefitting the restoration efforts at Fingle.
