Flooding can have a devastating impact on riverbanks. This case study details our partnership work with landowners along the River Derwent – restoring riverbanks through tree planting.
Following disastrous floods in the north-west of England we’ve been working with local landowners to:
- help stabilise banks
- slow flood water
- reduce the likelihood and impact of floods in the future.
