We’re working with Bank of Scotland to help farmers and landowners with their plans to transition to a low carbon future. If you’re looking to plant more than half a hectare of woodland and/or 100m of hedgerow, the MOREwoods and MOREhedges schemes are ideal. We can provide generous funding of up to 75% to cover costs, as well as advice on how and where to plant, and in some cases, help with planting.
Our MOREwoods and MOREhedges schemes can bring a multitude of benefits to your farm, such as:
• Helping to manage flooding
• Providing wood fuel
• Offering habitats for game and wildlife
You can choose to create a shelterbelt, fill a corner of a field or even plant a small wood.
Planting season is November to March, but it’s never too early to start planning! Apply now and our woodland creation experts will work with you to create a plan that meets the needs of your land.

Where 500+ trees are planted on at least half a hectare, we’ll visit your site, help you design your woodland, create a bespoke species mix, supply the agreed trees and tree protection, and cover up to 75% of costs.
